There are some days when we are not on the top. We feel that everything and everybody is against us, we feel insecure and vulnerable.
We cannot be always happy but at least we can change on our bad days. How? To have a coffee with your best friend, have a good chat about life; it helps me a lot. Or if you cannot meet just give a call for her and talk. A good friend can help a lot.
Shopping is might be not the best thing to do when you have a down moment but it definitely helps. Sometimes I like treating myself with a new beauty item, a lipstick for example. Just be careful and don't go crazy with it!
Taking a bath is very relaxing. Here, in Copenhagen, we don't really have the chance though because we have tiny little bathrooms, but if you are lucky and you have a bathtub, you should definitely take a bath. Don't forget to put on some nice music and burn some candles. These are going to add a lot to the relaxation.
And if you are not fancy doing any of the above mentioned tips then there is an other one. Take a nice walk in the nearest park or change the direction of your walk when you are going home, discover a part of the city which you live in. Enjoy the colors and the birds' singing.
And if none of them is your cup of tea, then smile! For me when I smile, everything just gets to look better, nothing is that dark and sad anymore. And people may smile back at you. It is such a good feeling to get a smile from somebody!
My skin has changed a lot since I went gluten free - from oily it became dry. In the past couple of months I have tried out a lot of different products and combinations of products, and finally I can say that I am very satisfied with everything that I use on a daily basis.
Now that I am not 20 anymore, there are some fine lines around my eye area and my undereye circles are just too visible. Although Clarins Multi-Active Yeux became part of my skincare routine just recently, I have to say that it really makes my day when I put it on. It cools down my skin, and it gives a perfect amount of moistur for my undereyes.
I like basically anything that is a good multipurpose product, and this Caudalíe Divine Oil is one of them. You can use it on your hair, body and face. I like to pour a little bit on my hand and press it all over my face.
I have a very sensitive skin and I also have sun allergy, and it really does matter what kind of a moisturizer I use. At first I like to put on a bit of Origins A Perfect World SPF 40 (Age-Defense Moisturizer with White Tea) to have the protection that I need, and then I put on some Giorgio Armani Armani Prima Glow-On Moisturizing Balm which I like to use as a primer as well.
And last but not least my favourite lip balm of all time, the Carmex Moisturising Lip Balm. I have been using Carmex for quite a few years now, and I love it! I put it on in the morning and also in the evening, and it keeps my lips very soft and moisturized. And if you are a big fan of liquid lipsticks, then I highly recommend it to you to use it before you apply your lipstick - you are not going to have a dry feeling on your lips at all! ;)
The weather in Denmark is never the best - either it is clouly and grey or rainy. But on this weekend we had a beautiful and sunny day. And in my opinion there is no better way to enjoy it than to go outside and spend the afrenoon (or morning, it depends on you) in parks or even to visit a castle or in this case, a palace or just spend some hours in the city.
This day I decided to go for my "comfy uniform" as I like to call it. Basically it means my favorite pair of blue denim (H&M) and a nice white or off-white blouse. I think this is a perfect choice for any occasion. You can dress the outfit down with a cardigan (Mango) and some trainers (I love my Converse!), or you can dress it up by adding a nice leather jacket and pointed toe heels, and you are good to go for a night out with your friends or to go for a dinner with your significant other.
Miniature bags are on the fashion scale nowadays, and I have to say, they caught me. I instantly fell in love with them especially with mini backpacks (Zara). I have to say that in this one I can fit a lot of things, even my water bottle (0,33ml)! :)
And here are two pictures which I took while walking in the city:
